Number 7. Located to the south of Lima, not far from the town of Ica is the desert oasis of Huacachina. Famous for the adventure activities in the sand dunes and features a small lake to refresh after sand boarding. Strangely, a small village has been built around the lake in the center of the dunes, so if you feel like staying the night there are several hotels on offer.
